We are pleased to announce the 2nd Kazan English Language Teachers' Summer School 2013 hosted by Lyceum No.2 and organized by Kazan IMC and TATEFL. This 3-day Summer Seminar is aimed at exploring current developments in the English Language and in the English Language Teaching with the primary focus on the following content areas:

• Learning Technologies;
• Teaching English to Teenagers
• Testing, Evaluation & Assessment: Teaching for exams( EGE, GIA,  IELTS);
• Teacher Development;
• Literature, Media & Cultural Studies

This premier ELT event in Kazan is considered to be one of the highlights of the Kazan's ELT events. The ELT Summer School provides an excellent opportunity for teachers from various contexts to network, share experience and attend a range of first-class and practical teacher development sessions.
The English Language Teachers' Summer Seminar is designed for teachers of English working at primary, secondary, tertiary levels and at the private sector:

• who are in search of ways of improving their English proficiency and in pursuit of new opportunities for teacher professional development
• who want to keep up to date with developments in the English language and in ELT
• who want to think about developing materials for use alongside their current course books and using new technologies and innovative techniques for the classroom
• who want to update their knowledge and their resources for teaching about Britain
• who are interested or involved in training ELT teachers
• who want to reflect on and develop their practice

The programme fee is 1000 RUB. This includes welcome packs, lunches, coffee breaks and all the maintenance costs within three days. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the seminar .You can pay for this program by cash at Lyceum or cheque (using the invoice provided, please remember  to  write down your full name on the cheque). Final payment is due to 26th August  2013.
